The question has always been: “Why can’t I buy wines and have Wine Access hold my order until I reach the shipping threshold?”
The answer, we are thrilled to announce, is now you can. Now, when you buy wine, you will have up to a MONTH to hit the threshold to have ground delivery included!
Here’s how it works:
Purchase any bottle, and you won’t be charged for shipping at checkout. Instead, we’ll hold your wine for 30 days OR until your order reaches $150. Once you hit the new $150 threshold, you’ll choose your delivery date—and you won’t pay a cent for shipping.
- When placing a new order that is less than $150, you’ll be opted into “Hold until I reach the shipping threshold” at Checkout (you can choose Ground or Next Day Air if you’d prefer).
- If you’re placing a new order and already have an eligible order awaiting shipment, you will be able to add the new wines to your previous order (until you fill up the case) at Checkout by clicking the green Continue button. If you need the wines shipped separately, simply click Place Order.
If you have an outstanding order and spot a few more irresistible bottles, you can easily add them to your shipment from your Orders page (under My Account)—and we’ve vastly increased the selection of wines you can add.
Any standard-sized bottle (750ml) that ships on or before your selected delivery date will be eligible, so you’ll have your choice of any in-stock wine and a number of Limited Time Offer wines!
